What does Elvis have to do with the tire industry?

I'm a big Elvis Presley fan. I also happen to be a big fan of the tire industry. Recently, while listening to the all-Elvis satellite radio station in my car, my mind started to wander. I began relating Elvis songs to events that have recently transpired in the world of tires.
