Electric cars more fad than fantastic

Articles, TV reports, etc., about electric cars seem to be everywhere these days. There's the Toyota Prius (OK, I suppose the Prius counts as half of an electric car) and the Chevy Volt, and more entries are on the way. Are you seeing any electric cars at your dealership?

Price increases will only continue as year wears on

Seems like a day rarely goes by without a tire manufacturer announcing some type of price increase. Michelin and Goodyear will raise prices on May 1, and Bridgestone, Continental and Falken will follow suit in June.

Earlier this week, rock-and-roll fans (including this reporter) marked the 61st anniversary of Buddy Holly's death. Between 1957 and 1958, Holly had seven Top 40 hits, cramming more talent and energy into his very brief career than most rockers manage to drum up over the course of decades.
