The Province of Ontario has removed its weight penalty on wide-base medium truck tires, which are now allowed to operate at the same weights as conventional dual tires.
American Pacific Industries Inc.'s medium truck tire program is on a roll. The company plans to import nearly 800,000 truck tires in 2009.
