Industry vets form OTR Tire Supply

OTR tire market veterans Michael McCarley and David Travis have formed a new company, OTR Tire Supply Inc. Utlizing its proprietary Tire Asset Management system, the Reno, Nev.-based firm will develop customized tire systems for mines.

"Tire operating conditions and maintenance practices have as much to do with tire performance as the design of the tire itself," says McCarley.

"Utilizing a staff of OTR tire professionals and experienced mining engineers, OTR Tire Supply assesses each individual mine and delivers a tire service and maintenance system that optimizes tire performance and delivers significant cost savings."

"By bringing together a team of highly experienced tire industry professionals, we are able to offer clients previously unforeseen reductions in operating costs, regardless of the size of the mine or geographic location," adds Travis.

"In addition, we offer all of our services online, thereby allowing us to help a mine with a single piece of equipment or an entire fleet."
