Rohlwing represents TIA at tire labeling workshop

Kevin Rohlwing, senior vice president of training for the Tire Industry Association (TIA), participated in the recent Tire Fuel Efficiency (TFE) Workshop. Sponsored by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA), the workshop was held Feb. 3, 2012, at the Federal Building in San Francisco, Calif.

NHTSA wants to change psi test for spares

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration wants to change the test pressure for temporary spare tires from 52 psi to 60 psi, which would "marginally" increase the stringency of the test, according to agency officials.
