Michelin dealers get a grip on X-Ice in Quebec

Michelin debuts long-life Defender passenger tire

Michelin North America Inc. has introduced a new all-season standard passenger car tire, the Defender, at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), Jan. 9-27, 2012, at Cobo Hall, Detroit, Mich. Michelin has been the official tire of NAIAS for 24 years.

Yokohama’s green tire exhibit opens in Boston

Yokohama Tire Corp.’s eco-tire technology is now officially on display at the Museum of Science, Boston. The two-year exhibit showcases Yokohama’s BluEarth-1, the company’s latest orange oil-infused passenger car tire, as well as the ultra-thin AIRTEX Advanced Liner, which helps consumers cut fuel costs by keeping their tires properly inflated.

Sumitomo drive tire joins SmartWay list
