Nominations for our 2010 Tire Dealer of the Year award are now closed.
To nominate a dealer for 2011, please follow the instructions below.
Nominate a deserving dealer by filling out the form below and we'll do the rest. A panel of independent judges will examine all entries and determine who will receive this coveted honor. Besides the recognition of the industry, the Tire Dealer of the Year's favorite charity will receive $1,000 from MTD. And, the winner will be featured on the cover of our September 2011 issue. There's no higher honor a tire dealer can receive. In selecting MTD’s Tire Dealer of the Year, judges will consider five elements: 1. Business Success: Not necessarily the size of the dealership, but rather its impact on the local market, its growth under the dealer’s management and its profitability. 2. Marketing Skills: Imagination and creativity. How well marketing efforts are tailored to the dealer’s market and to strategic business goals. 3. Management Skills: Administrative efficiency, training programs, business plans and other evidence of progressive practices. 4. Industry Knowledge: Dealer’s participation in professional activities and tailoring of business practices to take advantage of industry trends and developments. 5. Community Involvement: Any activities that help to promote or better the nominee’s community, including involvement in civic, fraternal, religious, charitable, educational, or other worthwhile affairs. Any independent tire dealer, except our previous winners, is eligible for the competition. Deadline for entries is June 3, 2011.
