New Sprint Cup race: Federated Auto Parts 400

Federated Auto Parts is the new sponsor for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series “Race Before the Chase.” Now called the Federated Auto Parts 400, the “Chase” will be held on Sept. 8, 2012, at the Richmond International Raceway and will be televised nationally on ABC.

Timken receives top parts supplier award

The Timken Co. has received the 2011 Vendor of the Year award from the National Pronto Association, one of the country’s largest auto parts buying groups. Timken supplies Pronto with a full line of automotive aftermarket products, including Timken hub units, bearings, grease and seals.
