Yokohama unveils another SmartWay truck tire

Yokohama Tire Corp. has introduced the 101ZL medium truck tire, the latest addition to its Zenvironment line of ecologically friendly truck tires. The 101ZL will be available this October.

Four of Direct Tire & Auto Service’s Boston, Mass., locations initiated an Eco Tire Tote pilot program last fall, and wound up saving 10,000 plastic bags from ending up in landfills, the company says.

Michelin rolls out Pilot Sport 3 performance tire

Groupe Michelin has introduced the Michelin Pilot Sport 3, which combines "on-road performance with environmental features," according to Michelin officials. The tire will be launched in North America later this year.

Bridgestone Ecopia tires make N.A. debut
