AAPEX announces 'Hot Topics' schedule

NHTSA issues new braking rule for trucks

Tractor-trailers traveling at 60 miles per hour will be required to come to a complete stop in 250 feet, a 30% improvement over the current government requirement, thanks to new braking standards from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Chinese import case not a dumping investigation

A spokesperson for the U.S. International Trade Commission says the commission's investigation into whether Chinese tire imports are causing a disruption in the U.S. market is classified as a "safeguard investigation," not a product dumping investigation.
