EPA adds Guizhou truck tires to Smartway list

Guizhou Tyre Corp.'s Samson and Advance brands GL283A L.E.T. has received approval from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a Smartway-approved tire effective immediately for drive and steer positions.

Conti’s HSL2 gets Eco Plus compounding

Continental Tire the Americas LLC has added its Eco Plus compounding, the basis of Continental’s low rolling resistance, fuel saving medium radial truck tires, to the tire maker’s best-selling highway steer tire, the HSL2.

Toyo M157 truck tire fights wear, saves fuel

Toyo Tires has introduced the M157 free-rolling axle tire for long-haul, over-the-highway operations. The M157 is U.S. EPA SmartWay(SM)-verified and features Toyo Tires’ proprietary e-balance technology.
