More on Toyo's new plant in China

Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. is building a new plant in China "to respond to increasing tire demands in accordance with the rapid progress of motorization in the Chinese market," according to company officials.

Toyo ends Cheng Shin, Maxxis ventures

Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. has decided to terminate its joint manufacturing ventures with Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co. Ltd. and Maxxis International Co. Ltd. in China in favor of building a wholly owned plant in that country.

Mazda picks Toyo tires for new Axela

Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. is supplying two eco-friendly tires, the Proxes R32 and the Toyo J48, to the new Mazda Axela, which is known outside of Japan as the Mazda3.
