Arnco launches ‘One Tote, One Tree’ ecological program

Arnco Inc. is partnering with the American Forests organization in creating the "One Tote, One Tree" green program.

President Larry Carapellotti says Arnco has committed to planting one tree for each tote of Arnco products sold. "Through this partnership, Arnco will plant a minimum of 15,000 new trees annually and will donate to the research that is paramount to understanding the sustainability of our environment."

The program announcement follows the recent introduction of Arnco's ecofil flatproofing material. The company says ecofil consumes 50% less petrochemicals than its existing polyurethane fill by using renewable and environmentally based components in the production process -- without a comparable loss of effectiveness.
