Yokohama to unveil eco-friendly tire at show

Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. will introduce its new dB super E-spec*1 eco-friendly tire line at the Geneva (Switzerland) Motor Show, which starts tomorrow, March 3, and runs through March 15.

The dB super E-spec*1 uses "various state-of-the-art technologies to enhance environmental performance and improve the rate of use of non-petroleum-derived resources," according to Yokohama officials.

The line will be available in Europe this summer. "Yokohama will carry out a strong campaign in advance of the (tire's) release."
