B.O.B. blog takes on tariffs on China imports

A lot is being written on the International Trade Commission's proposal to greatly increase tariffs on consumer imports from China. Some, like the United Steelworkers, are for it. Others are against it.

Some 88% of tire dealers sell tires made in China. How will this affect them?

Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich takes an objective, by-the-numbers approach to answering that question. In his B.O.B. blog, "Here's how tariffs on Chinese tires will affect tire dealers," Ulrich puts the proposed duties in perspective -- and his results may surprise you.

Check it out by visiting www.moderntiredealer.com, and clicking on first "Blogs" and then B.O.B. And feel free to leave a comment!

When China holds most of the US debt I do not see this tariff going through in its current state. China could stop importing our chicken! China is the world's largest importer of US chickens!
