Goodyear signs Heintschel Tire as a retreader

Texarkana, Texas-based Heintschel Tire & Service Inc. is now a Goodyear precure and Unicircle retreader.

This is Heintschel Tire's second go-around as a Goodyear retreader. The family-owned company had been a Goodyear retreader before signing with Marangoni Tread North Amercia Inc. seven years ago.

"Goodyear came to us because they saw what we could do in the marketplace," says Vice President Garry Heintschel.

In addition, "we already had Goodyear equipment" in the company's singular, 25,000-square-foot retread production area.

Heintschel Tire retreads between 110 and 120 medium truck tires per day, he says. "We plan to bump up" those numbers.
