TCS acquires Web development company

Tire dealership software provider Tire Company Solutions (TCS) has acquired Utah-based Web development company ThirstyPixel.

"Dynamic Internet technologies are an integral part of a successful tire and automotive service business," says TCS owner Barry Reese. "Expanding our technology" gives TCS and its customers "a great competitive edge and greatly enhances the products and services we can provide to our customers."

ThirstyPixel has more than 10 years of experience in various automotive markets "with significant crossover applications, including vehicle sales and marketing, shipping, trucking, and less-than-load applications," say TCS officials, who add that TCS and ThirstyPixel "are in the final stretch of developing a paradigm-shifting, complete software system that will change the road map of the tire and automotive industries."
