Cooper ramps up bull riding sponsorship

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. will sponsor a three-person team that will compete in the Professional Bull Riders 2009 Built Ford Tough Series. Cooper has been a Professional Bull Riders sponsor since 2008.

"The creation of Team Cooper allows us to extend our commitment and strong relationship with the series, while also increasing our brand presence in one of the fastest growing sports in North America," says Chris Pantani, director of motorsports and event marketing for Cooper.

"This sponsorship also provides increased media exposure through some of today's top media sources, including VERSUS, NBC, FOX and a host of other programming."

Cooper's corporate logo will be displayed on the riding team's uniforms.

The Professional Bull Riders series stages more than 300 events each year.
