Falken becomes N.A. Ohtsu truck tire distributor

Falken Tire Corp. will once again become the North American distributor of Ohtsu brand medium truck tires, effective March 1, 2010. Falken will initially offer 14 different lines of Ohtsu truck tires.

The company plans to introduce three low rolling resistance medium truck tire lines during the second half of 2010.

Falken will stock all of its medium truck tires in each of its four U.S. distribution centers: Dayton, N.J.; Juliet, Tenn.; Fontana, Calif.; and Irving, Texas, which opened earlier this year. (Falken anticipates opening a fifth distribution center during the fourth quarter of 2010 or the first quarter of 2011.)

"The Ohtsu brand has garnered a quality-focused reputation in the medium truck tire category, and will be a great addition to Falken's product line-up," say Falken officials.
