Cooper Tire names Ranallo vice president

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has named Ron Ranallo to the newly created position of vice president, ERP implementation.

In this new role, Ranallo will supervise numerous business process owners who are tasked with designing and configuring the enterprise resource planning business processes and enabling software.

Cooper’s new ERP system is intended to standardize, automate and integrate the business’s data and processes into one system and provide access to information in a real-time environment, the company says. Ranallo will manage the system’s implementation, including budget, resource allocation and vendor management. 

Since joining Cooper in 2008, Ranallo has served as director of internal audit at the corporate office in Findlay. Before joining Cooper, he served as the vice president and corporate controller for Owens Corning, Toledo, Ohio, and also worked as vice president and general manager for Owens Corning Construction Services.
