Michelin unveils truck tire dealer locator

Michelin Americas Truck Tires has launched a new, enhanced online truck tire dealer locator that contains information about the area surrounding those dealers' locations.

Data includes traffic updates, weather information, road construction alerts, restaurants and hotels.

"In addition to maps, street views and directions to any service provider or truck stop location, the new locator will provide detailed information about the type of assistance offered by each service provider," say Michelin officials. Information also will be available on the French and Spanish versions of Michelin's truck tire Web site.

"Michelin (also) is embracing newer technologies that help make information more accessible to trucking customers. Michelin tire dealer and service provider locations also can be found using the Google Maps mobile application. An icon at the top of the dealer locator site explains the easy process of using this feature."
