Bridgestone announces arena naming rights

Bridgestone Americas Inc. and The Nashville Predators pro hockey team have signed an agreement that gives Bridgestone naming rights to the team's home arena in Nashville, Tenn.

"The new venue name will be the Bridgestone Arena, starting with the March 3 Predators game," say Bridgestone officials.

In addition, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC (BATO) and the Predators have announced a five-year extension of their existing marketing partnership.

"We're excited to be in a position to support the city, the Predators and the entire Nashville community through this naming rights partnership," says Christine Karbowiak, executive vice president, community and corporate relations, Bridgestone Americas.
