Bridgestone to hike ag, construction tire prices

Bridgestone Americas Tire Operation's Agricultural Tire, U.S. & Canada Commercial Tire Sales division will raise prices on all Firestone brand ag, construction and forestry tires by 5%.

The increase, effective April 1, will apply to tires sold in the U.S. and Canada. In-line adjustments could exceed 5%.

Prices on Bridgestone brand garden tires sold in the U.S. and Canada will increase by 5% on April 1, as well.

"In order to remain a viable supplier in the agricultural, forestry and industrial markets, we will continue to review our pricing structure and make quarterly adjustments as needed," says Tom Rodgers, director of marketing for the division.
