Continental Tire the Americas wins awards

Continental Tire the Americas LLC (CTA) recently took home three ContiTire Awards from parent company Continental AG.

"The ContiTire Awards is a long-standing company tradition that recognizes employees worldwide for superior achievements and commitment to excellence," say Continental officials.

"Each year, company leaders present ContiTire Awards to acknowledge employees' exceptional performance as part of project teams that provide outstanding value to the corporation."

The three CTA projects that received a ContiTire Award were:

* Engage 360, a Web-based training program designed for customers and employees of CTA's Passenger Car & Light Truck and Commercia Vehicle Tire divisions.

* CTA's Gold dealer program, which "provides incentives to tire retailers in the U.S."

* growth of CTA's consumer and commercial tire business in Argentina.

Engage 360 also earned Continental's BASICS award, which singles out team members for implementing "guidelines that reflect the corporation's vision, values and self-image."
