Titan introduces Goodyear farm tractor tire

Titan International Inc. has introduced the Goodyear DT 930 farm tire for combine, tractor and grain cart applications. The tire is available in size 1100/45R46.

The tire's wide, deep lugs "provide excellent flotation, which enables the user to harvest his crops with combines," says Titan Chairman and CEO Morry Taylor.

The DT 930 reduces compaction in the field, while its low sidewall provides extra stability on steep slopes, according to Titan officials.

It stands 85 inches tall and is almost four feet wide. "DT 930 tires with appropriately sized wheels can be used in place of narrower dual rear tractor tires."

The DT 930 has been approved by original farm equipment manufacturer AGCO for use on its Challenger brand tractors.
