Goodyear names Danville plant manager
Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has named Tim Noe manager of its Danville, Va., plant. Noe most recently served as manager of the tiremaker's Buffalo, N.Y., factory.
Noe replaces Andrew Harper, who will return to Europe after four years of assignments in North America and Asia.
Mark Fisher, production manager at the Buffalo plant, will serve as acting plant manager there until a permanent replacement is named.
Noe was promoted to Buffalo plant manager in 2007, where he began working 30 years ago. Harper, a 22-year Goodyear veteran, has been plant manager in Danville since summer 2008.
