Wingfoot Commercial Tire adds truck care center

Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., has opened a new truck care center in Kenly, N.C.

The center on Interstate 95 provides new and retreaded tires plus 24/7 roadside assistance, preventative maintenance service, including oil changes, and light mechanical service such as brake, electrical and heating/air conditioning repairs.

The new location is the third Wingfoot Truck Care Center located on I-95 between Florida and Virginia, notes Clint Schrock, director of on-highway operations.

Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems operates more than 140 commercial tire sales, service and retread facilities nationwide. With this new addition, Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems has 36 on-highway Truck Care Centers operating in 15 states.
