Continental raises commercial tire prices 8%
Continental AG has announced that prices for its commercial vehicle tires will rise 6-8% in Europe, depending on region and product, on Aug. 1, 2011. The price increase applies to all brands and the whole commercial vehicle tire product range.
The price increases do not apply to tires in the United States. Continental Tire the Americas LLC increased prices on all Continental, General and Ameri*Steel brand replacement commercial truck tires sold in the U.S. by 11% effective July 1.
