Wingfoot Truck Care Center No. 41 opens in Ohio

Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., has opened its 41st Wingfoot Truck Care Center. The opening of the full-service facility in Berkshire, Ohio, follows the opening of two Wingfoot locations last month.

“The center is located on a Flying J property just north of Columbus, Ohio, at exit 131 along Interstate 71, a major north-to-south trucking route,” says Clint Schrock, director of on-highway operations for Goodyear.

The three-bay facility provides oil changes and other preventive maintenance services; light mechanical services, such as brake, electrical and heating/air conditioning repair; and 24/7 roadside assistance. In addition, the new Wingfoot Truck Care Center offers Goodyear and Dunlop truck tires, plus retreaded tires.

Wingfoot Truck Care Centers, along with Boss Truck Shops Inc. and Highway Service Ventures/Patriot Farms Flying J, are members of Goodyear’s Uni-Maxx Truck Care network, which was launched in August, 2011.
