ALI partners with Petty’s Garage

The Automotive Lift Institute Inc. (ALI) and Petty’s Garage LLC have entered into a partnership program.

As part of the agreement, ALI will be an active participant in the Petty’s Garage Performance Tour. Although thousands of fans and customers visit Petty’s Garage every year, this tour will bring Petty’s Garage to the nationwide consumer.

“Partnering with Petty’s Garage on the Performance Tour makes sense because the Automotive Lift Institute’s safety and inspection message is complimented by the rich history and tremendous brand recognition Petty’s Garage brings to the table,” says Bob O’Gorman, president of ALI.

The partnership is an extension of work that began in 2005 with Richard and Kyle Petty with the production of the “Lifting It Right” DVD focusing on automotive lift operator safety training.

“The Performance Tour will further the exposure of important automotive lift safety issues, such as compliance with national safety standards and the need to inspect your automotive lifts on a regular basis,” says O’Gorman.

“Every garage, large or small, needs proper education of auto lifts to ensure safety of each individual involved. We are very impressed with ALI’s involvement in the education process,” says Richard Petty. “ALI has a concrete plan to utilize their sponsorship and we look forward to working with them in 2012 and beyond.”
