Optimal service for Kia Optima TPMS

The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on a 2011 to 2013 Kia Optima monitors the air pressure in the four road tires with wheel-mounted tire pressure sensors. To do this, the system uses a TPMS receiver, four radio frequency (RF) tire pressure sensors, two warning indicators on the instrument cluster, and a data circuit to perform system functions

Honda Fit 2008-2013 TPMS service

When a tire pressure sensor or control unit is replaced on a 2008-2013 Honda Fit, or a known good wheel is substituted, the ID(s) of all four tires’ sensors must be memorized by the TPMS control unit. After memorizing the sensor ID(s) or doing a tire rotation, the mounting location of sensors 1, 2, 3 and 4 must be determined. See Reset procedures.

TPMS: Train Mustang sensors when the front and rear pressures differ

The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on 2010-13 Ford Mustangs monitors the air pressure in the four road tires with wheel-mounted tire pressure sensors. The sensors transmit radio frequency signals to the Smart Junction Box (SJB) approximately every 60 seconds when the vehicle speed exceeds 20 mph. If the vehicle is stationary for more than 30 minutes, the sensor will enter into a “sleep mode” and stop transmitting.

When rotating Subaru Forester tires, TPMS still functions, tire positions will not be displayed correctly

The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on the 2008-13 Subaru Forester checks the tire pressures of all four road wheels when the vehicle is driven at speeds above 25 mph and warns in the event of a loss of pressure by means of a low tire pressure warning light. A sensor installed in each wheel will indicate when tire pressure is severely low. The TPMS will activate only when the vehicle is driven.

TPMS setups on Dodge Chargers

The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on the 2009-13 Dodge Charger monitors air pressure in the four road tires; pressure in the spare tire is not monitored. There are two tire pressure monitoring systems available, a base system and a premium system. The base system does not specify how many tires are low or where they are located. The premium system does so.

Altima warning control unit can detect a system malfunction

During driving at speeds above 25 mph on 2007-13 Nissan Altimas, the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) receives the signal transmitted from the transmitter installed in each wheel, and gives alarms when the tire pressure becomes low. NOTE: When a spare tire is mounted, or a wheel, tire pressure sensor or BCM is replaced, the tire pressure sensor must be registered. See reset procedures.

TPMS: Mitsubishi Outlander and Outlander Sport

The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on the 2008-2013 Mitsubishi Outlander and 2011-2013 Outlander Sport uses tire inflation pressure sensors on the wheels to monitor pressures. The system only indicates when a tire is significantly under-inflated. Under the following conditions, the system may not function properly:
