When rotating Subaru Forester tires, TPMS still functions, tire positions will not be displayed correctly  

The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on the 2008-13 Subaru Forester checks the tire pressures of all four road wheels when the vehicle is driven at speeds above 25 mph and warns in the event of a loss of pressure by means of a low tire pressure warning light. A sensor installed in each wheel will indicate when tire pressure is severely low. The TPMS will activate only when the vehicle is driven.

Consumers are spending money on deferred tire and service purchases  

According to the results of our survey, demand for replacement tires remained healthy in June. From a volume standpoint the dealers reported that they sold 0.7% more tires last month on a year-over-year basis, following a 1.3% increase in May and a 1.3% increase in April.

TPMS setups on Dodge Chargers  

The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on the 2009-13 Dodge Charger monitors air pressure in the four road tires; pressure in the spare tire is not monitored. There are two tire pressure monitoring systems available, a base system and a premium system. The base system does not specify how many tires are low or where they are located. The premium system does so.
