Bridgestone adds to its UHP tire lineup: The Potenza RE-71R

A track day tire featuring a new tread compound, the Potenza RE-71R from Bridgestone Americas Inc. is for drivers who daydream of turning laps, but instead commute in sports cars, coupes and sedans. It’s available now in 29 sizes in 15-inch to 19-inch rim diameters, 55 to 35 series, with speed ratings of V and W. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has opened its first development center in China, inside its manufacturing facility in Pulandian. The tire maker says the center will help it increase its capabilities in China, the world’s largest and fastest-growing market for passenger cars and commercial trucks.
