Chabill’s Tire Service LLC will be opening its newest retail facility in Baton Rouge, La., later this month.

An official grand opening and ribbon cutting are planned for Friday, May 24. This is the company’s first location in Baton Rouge and, according to Chabill's Business Development Director Beth Barron, is just one of several planned for the Baton Rouge area. “Our plan is to open another location in Dutchtown before the end of the year and then build at least one new store per year in and around Baton Rouge in the future,” says Barron.

Chabill’s has been in business for 45 years and has locations in Lafayette, Broussard, Youngsville, Houma, Thibodaux, Morgan City, New Iberia, Mathews, Bayou Vista, and Franklin, La.

The company is a large direct dealer of Michelin products (Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Riken and Medalist) and also can supply customers with Goodyear, Dunlop, Kelly, Cooper and many other tire lines.

Chabill's was 87th on Modern Tire Dealer's Top 100 list of the largest independent tire dealers and is one of the largest independent tire dealers in Louisiana. The company's ASE-certified technicians also perform a variety of automotive services including oil changes, brake jobs, alignments, air conditioning repair and shock and strut replacement.

Chabill’s , owned by Charles Gowland and headquartered in Morgan City, La., has more than 100 employees.
