Toyo enhances TBR casing warranty

Posted on December 5, 2013

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has rolled out an improved casing warranty for its commercial line of medium truck and bus radial (TBR) tires. Toyo says both fleet and independent operators will benefit from this improved warranty as it applies to the retreading of casings.

The casing value has been increased to $110 for the first retread on many popular sizes. Toyo also offers a rubber allowance of up to $50 based on the remaining tread depth of the tire. This makes the improved casing warranty by Toyo Tires one of the best in the tire business and instills confidence when using Toyo Tires’ commercial tire products, notes Toyo.

“Toyo Tires commercial tire products continue to receive praise on their retreadability from independent tire dealers throughout the U.S.,” says Lowell Slimp, senior product manager, commercial truck tires, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.

“We are offering our improved casing warranty to further demonstrate the benefits of using Toyo brand commercial tires which help to reduce the cost per mile for fleet and independent operations that rely on both quality and durability.”

The new, 66-month warranty applies to Toyo commercial truck tires purchased after October 10, 2013.  Learn more about the improved casing warranty for commercial tires at toyotires.com/tbr/customer-care/warranty-information, or consult with an authorized Toyo Tires dealer.
