New toll-free CIMS number to register tires

Posted on December 10, 2013

CIMS Inc., the world’s largest independent tire registration group, has improved the tire registration process by offering tire dealers, manufacturers, importers and consumers a toll-free connection with CIMS home offices in Akron, Ohio at (855) 444-5120.

CIMS President, Susan Kruder, recognized the necessity for a toll-free number due to the increase of tire dealers, manufacturers and importers using CIMS’ tire registration services. Subsequently, the volume of phone calls for initial client setup, ongoing support questions and general information increased dramatically, notes CIMS.

Questions range from processing tire registration forms, online registration availability and what are the notification procedures during a recall? The toll-free line will be staffed by experienced CIMS personnel. If callers do not reach a support person they can leave a message and a CIMS representative will return their call.
