Omni Goodride, RoadLux tires get EPA-verified

Omni United Pte. Ltd., parent company of Omni United USA Inc., announced that its Goodride CR989 line haul steer, CM983 closed shoulder drive, CM980 open shoulder drive, and the CR915 line haul trailer tires all received SmartWay verification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The company also received SmartWay verification on RoadLux R116 line haul steer, R216 all-position rib, R516 closed shoulder drive, and the R120 line haul trailer tires.

“Omni United’s global commitment to sustainability is deeply embedded throughout the company, and the SmartWay verification of these products is just another step of integrating that into our day-to-day operations around the globe. As a company, we are proud to continue our efforts towards reducing our overall footprint on this planet,” says Steve Williams, Commercial Tire Sales Director for Omni United USA, which markets and sells Goodride and RoadLux products in the United States.

Omni United recently achieved Carbon Neutral status for its Radar Tires brand worldwide and is moving towards having all products recycled at the end of their lifespan.

Omni United USA exclusively markets and sells Goodride products, including truck tires in the United States. Goodride is produced by ZC Rubber, the largest tire manufacturer in China and 11th largest manufacturer in the world, according to the company.

Omni United USA also exclusively markets and sells RoadLux TBR products in North America.
