Perfect Equipment changes operating name

Perfect Equipment Inc., a wheel balance weight manufacturer in North America and founder of the Perfect Equipment wheel weight brand, announced it has updated its operating name to Wegmann automotive USA Inc. The change was effective on Jan. 1.

Though the overall operating name has changed, the 75-year-old product brand name ‘Perfect Equipment’ will remain unchanged and stay as a key member of the company’s brand portfolio.

The Perfect Equipment brand offers a range of wheel weight solutions including traditional, non-lead, knock-on and adhesive options.

The newly adopted North American operating name is a reflection of the overall parent company, Wegmann automotive GmbH & Co. KG of Germany, which has owned Perfect Equipment since 2005.

The company says the naming evolution helps galvanize the Wegmann automotive global platform and provides consistency to markets worldwide.
