Now in its 22nd year, the MTD Dealer of the Year award recognizes an independent dealer whose marketing skills have kept the dealership strong through the rough times.

Since 1993, Modern Tire Dealer’s Tire Dealer of the Year award has been the most prestigious honor in the industry.
Our 22st Tire Dealer of the Year will be featured in a cover article in our September 2014 issue and will receive a minimum of $1,000 from MTD to go to the winner’s favorite charity.
The nomination process is easy! Just click here and fill out a short form explaining why you feel the dealer should be considered. Modern Tire Dealer’s editors will take it from there. Any independent tire dealer, except our previous winners, is eligible for the competition.
The deadline to nominate someone for Modern Tire Dealer’s 2014 Tire Dealer of the Year award is Friday, May 23, 2014.
Bob Ulrich was named Modern Tire Dealer editor in August 2000. He joined the magazine in 1985 as assistant editor, and has been responsible for gathering statistical information for MTD's "Facts Issue" since 1993.
