In extreme weather, 2 winter tires or 4?

Posted on January 23, 2014

With outside temperatures hoving in the single digits this week, a blog about a television news report on proper car car seems appropriate.

The report relied on a Cleveland, Ohio, independent tire dealer for his expertise, and the owner of Rad Air Complete Car Care & Tire Center came through with helpful tips for consumers and dealers alike.

However, Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich didn't think the two-minute report went far enough. In his latest blog, he not only comments on the report, but also addresses perhaps the most frequently asked question when it comes to winter tires: two tires or four?

To read all about it, check out "Marketing opportunity missed: what about winter tires?"

Do you think it is a good idea to sell just two winter tires? Do you have more tips to pass along to your fellow dealers?  Read the blog, then let us know what you think by leaving a comment.
