Clarissa Niese has been featured in the Wall Street Journal for her creative approaches to marketing to women.

Tire Discounters Inc. has named Clarissa Niese to the newly created position of chief marketing officer, executive vice president. 

Niese, who has experience marketing consumer brands such as Pampers, Duracell, Prilosec OTC, Airheads and Mentos, will lead all marketing communications and design for Tire Discounters. The company says it is seeking to match its innovative sales and service with insightful and compelling communication.  

“We are delighted to have Crissy join our growing Tire Discounters team” says Paul Brunner, CEO and president.  “Her strong foundation of traditional consumer-centric marketing, coupled with her infectious energy is exactly what our organization needs.”

Before joining Tire Discounters, Niese marketed at P&G in the health care, baby care and battery categories. She most recently spearheaded communication for Airheads and Mentos Gum brands for Perfetti Van Melle, U.S.A.  

Tire Discounters operates in five markets across three states, employs more than 900 people and is No. 9 on the MTD 100. The company is based in Cincinnati.
