Yokohama has an OE Advan-tage on Porsches

Posted on February 11, 2014

Porsche AG has selected the Yokohama Sport V105 N-0 as an original equipment fitment on the new Porsche Panamera.

The Panamera will be equipped with size 255/40ZR20 101Y tires on the front, and 295/35ZR20 105Y on the rear.

The Advan Sport V105 N-0 was developed by Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. and Porsche. It was based on Yokohama's Advan Sport V105 ultra-high performance tire; the "N-0" mark on the side of each tire indicates Porsche's approval of the tire.

The Panamera premiered in 2009 as Porsche's first four-door, four-seat passenger car. It was designed to achieve "unsurpassed sports car performance without compromising on practicality," according to Yokohama.

Yokohama tires also come factory-equipped on the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 (997) and the Porsche Cayenne.
