BKT sponsors TIA OTR tire conference

Posted on February 19, 2014

BKT Tires (USA) Inc. has assumed a major sponsorship role of the 59th annual Tire Industry Association (TIA) Off-the-Road Tire Conference being held at the Marco Island Marriott Resort & Golf Club, in Marco Island, Fla., now through February 22.

The TIA OTR conference is hosting delegates from all over the world specializing in the supply and service of the construction and mining industries.  The conference will provide attendees the opportunity to participate in training and professional sessions, networking opportunities and the annual golf tournament.

BKT will have major visibility this year as it will sponsor the “Hole in One” event with its WOW campaign prominently displayed on beverage carts used during the tournament.

Additionally, BKT will sponsor this year’s motivational speaker, Jim “The Rookie” Morris, who will deliver his  message of encouragement to delegates during Friday’s general session.

BKT also will unveil its “Independence for Independents” initiative, which will focus on creating a supply alternative for independent dealers.  “The new program will demonstrate the value of high quality products, and innovative solutions,” the company says.  “Dealers will have a chance to discuss with BKT management how ‘Growing Together’ through strong personal relationships and mutual trust can benefit their business.”
