At the recent 2014 Tire Pros National Dealer Conference, Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich had a chance to sit down with executives from American Tire Distributors Inc. He asked them about their plans for Hercules Tire & Rubber Co.
It was too soon, only a week after the acquisition.
One month later, ATD has begun to formulate a strategy for its new division. Ulrich asked Ron Sinclair, senior vice president of marketing, about what the industry can expect from the coupling, which includes 21 Tire Dealer’s Warehouse (TDW) distribution centers. His answers help lift the fog surrounding the blockbuster purchase.
