Goodyear offers fleet program signup at MATS

Posted on March 18, 2014

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. says owner-operators through mid-size fleets can sign up for its Smart Fleet program during the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Ky., March 27-29.

“The Goodyear Smart Fleet program gives owner-operators, as well as mid-size fleets, access to the benefits that up until now were reserved for Goodyear national account fleets,” says Jose Martinez, business solutions manager, Goodyear Commercial Tire Systems.

Goodyear says benefits of the program include:

* access to Goodyear branded truck tires and technologies, including Fuel Max Technology, which incorporates fuel-saving compounds and construction; and DuraSeal Technology, a self-sealing technology;

* online, published pricing on new tires, retreads and services, which will be honored by participating, authorized Goodyear commercial tire dealerships.

* 24/7 roadside service program, offered through the Goodyear-FleetHQ suite of business solutions; and

*tools to help owner-operators and fleets lower their operating costs.

Goodyear Smart Fleet members will receive the same pricing at any participating Goodyear commercial tire dealership nationwide, “so there are no pricing surprises, whether on the road or at home,” says Martinez.

In addition, Goodyear Smart Fleet members have the ability to streamline the scheduling of tire and service work by providing relevant information on line ahead of time.
