Bridgestone brings celebrities to MATS

Posted on March 21, 2014

Bridgestone Commercial Solutions announced that singer/songwriter Phil Vassar and Alex Debogorski of Ice Road Truckers fame will appear at the Bridgestone booth at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Ky., March 27-29, 2014.

The two celebrities will help promote attendance at the booth and support the culmination of the Drive a Firestone Sweepstakes.

The Drive a Firestone sweepstakes was open to drivers with a valid U.S. commercial driver’s license (Class 8) and who own or operate a Class 7 or 8 vehicle. The sweepstakes launched last summer and closed in December. The winner of the grand prize, a Firestone Edition Class 8 tractor, will be selected from five finalists at MATS.

Bridgestone says Vassar will give two live performances in the afternoon on March 27, and Debogorski will be on hand to sign autographs and pose for photos the afternoon of March 28.

The company says the public is invited to come by booth number 34415 and enjoy the activities.
