Tire & Service Network dealers signed up for customizable websites featuring promotions, services and a mult-brand tire portfolio at the Goodyear Dealer Conference.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has enhanced support of customized tire dealer websites as part of its Tire & Service Network program.

The website program was announced two months ago. Initially, tire dealer website support was included in the 2014 Tire & Service Network program. Due to strong dealer response and positive feedback to the program, Goodyear has extended it through 2015 at no additional cost for all Tire & Service Network Ad Program levels (base, plus and premium).

The connection between www.goodyear.com and a Goodyear tire dealer’s site helps drive traffic for the participating dealer business, the company notes.

“To better convert this demand to sales, Goodyear assists participating dealers in creating their own best-in-class websites that offer the experience and features consumers expect,” says Scott Rogers, chief marketing officer for Goodyear’s North American consumer tire business. “They can take advantage of the consumer traffic at www.goodyear.com, with built-in, deep-link shopping cart handoff capabilities – with a newly created website for their business, all for no incremental cost to their existing Tire & Service Network membership.”

With this online coordination, participating tire dealers can attract potential buyers in two ways – directly to their enhanced sites, and via www.goodyear.com.

“Our work to build this new dealer website platform will help the participating dealers to have an engaging online presence and be found online by tire shoppers,” Rogers says.

Some of the features and support included in the website platform include: auto-posted Goodyear promotions; multiple options for quoting or scheduling; automotive service content; design customizations to allow the participating dealer to display its unique position in the local community; and consistency and integration points with www.goodyear.com.

TCS Technologies is the only authorized vendor that can provide these customized websites at no additional cost to participating dealers. Qualifying dealers who are interested in signing up for the new customized website option should contact TCS Technologies at (888) 449-8473, sales@tcstire.com, or www.tcstire.com, or call their local Goodyear sales representative. More information on the program can be found at www.toolkit.goodyear.com.
