Yokohama kicks off ‘Spring Getaway’ campaign

Yokohama Tire Corp. is awarding consumers a $60 Visa prepaid card for the purchase of four qualifying tires in its national mail-in rebate promotion,“Spring Getaway,” which runs through April 30, 2014.

“The weather is finally starting to warm up and people are beginning to plan road trips and vacations,” says Andrew Briggs, Yokohama director, marketing and product planning.

“It’s the ideal time for the Spring Getaway campaign because it will help consumers save money and make sure their vehicles are ready for road with a new set of Yokohama tires.”

The rebate is available at participating Yokohama dealers nationwide, as well as select online retailers.

The New Jersey Assembly has left no doubt as to its view on unsafe used tires. By a vote of 72-0 on Nov. 21, it unanimously passed legislation to prohibit the sale of unsafe used tires that pose a risk to New Jersey motorists and the public.
