Cooper will release 1Q results on May 2

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. will announce first-quarter 2014 financial results before the market opens on Friday, May 2, 2014.

Management will discuss the financial results on a conference call beginning at 11 a.m. EDT that same day.

Individuals may access a live webcast of the conference call at the company’s investor relations website.

Within two hours following the conference call, the webcast will be archived and available for 30 days at the same website.

Cooper reported net income of $111 million on net sales of more than $3.4 billion for fiscal 2013. That compares to income of $220.3 million on sales of $4.2 billion for the prior year.
