Tire Choice supports children with autism

The Tire Choice is supporting children with autism as the official tire and automotive service partner of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers soccer team.

As part of the partnership, the Strikers will host over 12 soccer clinics for the University of Miami-Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disorders.

“Diane and I are very proud to be associated with the Strikers, they are a first-class organization and have been a great partner and supporter of the autism soccer clinics that we sponsor in South Florida,” says Dan Hennelly, chairman and CEO of Hennelly Tire & Auto Inc., which does business as The Tire Choice and Total Car Care. Dan’s wife, Diane, is the company’s vice chairman and chief financial officer.

The Tire Choice will be the presenting sponsor of the Strikers match versus Indy Eleven on April 26. The Tire Choice and the Strikers will provide free admission to any child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

In celebration of the partnership, The Tire Choice will offer a discount off an oil change at any The Tire Choice store with the back of the ticket stub to any Strikers home game.  If the Strikers win, the discount will be 50% off until the Strikers next game.

Hennelly Tire & Auto is based in Fort Lauderdale and operates 35 The Tire Choice stores in Florida. The company is No. 31 on the MTD 100 list of the nation’s top independent tire dealer chains. Dan and Diane are winners of the 2013 Tire Dealer of the Year Award.
